Sunday School Discipleship and Ministries International.




The Mission of the Sunday School Discipleship and Ministries International (SDMI) is to carry the Great Commission, not just to children but to all age groups, children, youths and adults. The SDMI is the heart of any congregational life of the church. In Matthew 28, Jesus commanded us to go and make Christ-like disciples of all nations and this will always be the objective of the SDMI.

Purpose:


  1. 1.To be a people of prayer, engaged in the Word, making Christ-like disciples
  2. 2.To intentionally develop relationships with unreached people so that they become Christ-like disciples making Christ-like disciples.
  3. 3.To teach the Word of God to children, youth, and adults so that they are saved, sanctified wholly, and maturing in Christian experience that results in a life of compassion, evangelism, Christian education, and disciple making.

  4. 4. To encourage everyone to faithfully engage in a discipleship ministry such as Sunday school/Bible studies, small groups, and other disciple-making ministries.



Objectives:


  1. To reach the largest number of unchurched people for Christ and the church,
  2. bringing them into fellowship,
  3. teaching the Word of God effectively, and encompassing their salvation;
  4. teaching the doctrines of the Christian faith and developing Christ-like character, attitudes, and habits;
  5. helping to establish Christian homes;
  6. preparing believers for membership in the church and equipping them for appropriate Christian ministries.

Women’s Ministry



The Nazarene women are transformed by Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live holy lives committed to nurturing a community to become Christ-like disciples, characterized by encountering God through prayer and the word. Women Ministry has a multi-faceted purpose. It is designed to: -
  1. Support women as they fill their various roles
  2. Reach out to the Community
  3. Minister to those in the church
  4. Offer opportunities spiritual and relational growth

Women’s Ministries is to glorify God by challenging women to know God personally and to grow in Christ-likeness.

Men’s Ministry




Men's Ministries challenges men to discover their spiritual gifts, evangelize their community, disciple and encourage one another in the faith, and develop strong parenting and relational skills. Resources for this crucial ministry are: Access to a network of other men who are successfully ministering to men in local Nazarene churches Historically and biblically, men have been essential to fulfilling the Church's mission and spread of the gospel. Men have served in crucial leadership positions in all areas of ministry, clergy and lay, domestic and international. Nazarene Men's Ministries follows that tradition by affirming, teaching, modeling, informing, and inspiring men of all ages and nationalities for meaningful Kingdom service. Today men are becoming more aware to their spiritual need and God's call upon their lives. They are systematically gathering to seek God's will and counsel. Nazarene Men's Ministries is committed to touching that need with resources and support. Singles Ministry The mission of the Single Adult Ministry is geared towards encouraging Christians to be prepared and to share the good news of the gospel and introduce others to Jesus Christ.
